Nursing Care

Teresian House has 7 units, each with 2 neighborhoods that are all skilled. Each one has a slightly different make-up. For instance, one unit may have more cognitively impaired resident, while another may have more alert and oriented residents with heavier medical needs. Some neighborhoods have more independent resident and others may have residents that require more care. All the neighborhoods are staffed based on the acuity of the residents. We also have a Cognitively Impaired “Memory” (Dementia) unit which is secure. All neighborhoods with the exception of this unit have residents that “age in place”. Therefore, upon admission we strive to place residents in a neighborhood that best fits their needs. All neighborhoods have their own kitchen and dining rooms.
