Occupational Therapy is the use of exercises and functional activities to achieve optimum participation in self care and Activities of Daily Living. Our Occupational Therapy department is staffed by a part-time Occupational Therapist (OTR) and a full time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). Services may address:
- Grip Strength
- Range of Motion and Strength Training for Upper Extremities
- Activities of Daily Living
- Self Feeding/Dining
- Use of Adaptive Equipment
- Sensory Deficits
Our Occupational Therapist also performs Room Assessments to ensure furniture is arranged for optimum safety and resident independence within their room.
