Medical Care

Each neighborhood has a physician that oversees the care of its residents. Upon admission this physician usually takes over the care, unless other arrangements have been made. Many residents have specialist that they continue to see if needed. However, we do try to meet the needs of our residents, by having many specialists come into Teresian House for their convience. This includes podiatrists, optician, dentist, dermatologist, audiologist, psychologist and psychiatrist, to name a few. Also each neighborhood has a Primary RN and the facility also has RNs available 24hr. a day. MDs are always available to address emergencies that may arise.
